Mary West

Mary Margaret West, Johnson City, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2024, at the age of 85. She was born on March 12, 1939, in Johnson City, TN. Mary worked as an assembler at Minco, dedicating her time to her craft.

Mary will be dearly missed by her husband of 70 years, Franklin West, Sr.; her son, Frank West, Jr.; her son, Franklin "Butch" Bishop, Jr. and his wife Kelli; her brother John David Hall and his wife Judy; her sister Judy Story and her husband Paris; grandchildren Ian West, Sgt. Aaron Salyers and his wife Molly, and Abby Grills and her husband John; as well as her great-grandchild, Tucker John Grills; and a cousin, Charles Combs (Pam). Mary is preceded in death by her daughter, Tama Sue West, her parents, and her siblings Ricky Hall, Adrain Ann Tipton, and Jane Bretmuler.

Mary was known for her unwavering faith and was a devoted Christian.

Services for Mary will be privately held by her family.
