Max Skip Big?n Arnett, 63, of Johnson City, passed away Friday, May 22, 2015 at his home. Maxie was a Johnson City native. He was the son of the late Paul and Selma Williams Arnett. Maxie worked as a drywall installer. He was a proud member of the Ghost Riders Motorcycle Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Larry, Hubert, Billy Joe, Bob, Mary Ann, and Denny. Survivors include: his wife of 43 years, Anna Hughes Arnett; one daughter, Donna Hughes; one son, Skipper Lee Arnett; two grandchildren, Christopher Teague and Amber Hughes; four brothers, Clinton, Hack, Clarence, and Rick; five sisters, Nancy, Diane, Joyce, Lois, and Della; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Freddy. The family of Max Skip Big?n Arnett will receive friends from 5 pm until 7 pm Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in the Morris-Baker Dogwood Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 7 pm Tuesday in the chapel. Rev. Leonard Nave will officiate. The graveside service is scheduled for 12 pm Wednesday, May 27, 2015 in Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Minister, family, and friends are requested to meet at Morris-Baker by 11:30 am Wednesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
