Maxine Clark Robinson

Maxine Clark Robinson, 91, of Johnson City, passed away on Sunday, January 02, 2011 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Sabine County, TX and was a daughter of the late Jefferson Elias Clark and Alice Leona Chandler Clark. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Robinson, all of her 8 siblings and one grandson, David T. Daniel. Mrs. Robinson was of the Methodist faith and was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Robinson was a loving wife and mother who dedicated her life to taking care of her family. She lived and traveled extensively in support of her family, spreading her love and generosity throughout the United States and Europe. She and her husband returned from Europe in 1970 and settled in Blytheville, AR, where she resided until 2006. At that time she came to Johnson City to live with her daughter and son-in-law. She was an avid gardener and seamstress and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all. Survivors include three children: Dr. Michael C. Robinson of Hurst, TX, Nancy Robinson Honeycutt and her husband Mickey, of Johnson City and Lt. Col. John T. Robinson, U.S.A.F. retired and his wife Dianne, of Medina, OH; Grandchildren: Lori Grode and her husband Robert, T.C. Daniel, Jr. and his wife Lisa, Mickey Honeycutt, Jr. and his wife Angela, Adam Daniel and his wife Kristi, Meredith Woosley, Rebecca Honeycutt, John P. Robinson, Jennifer Robinson, Scott Robinson, Scotty Draughn and Melissa Draughn and 18 great-grandchildren Services and burial will be in Blytheville, AR and will be announced later.
