Maxine F. Troxwell

Maxine F. Troxwell, 73, of 139 Sewanee Road, Johnson City died Sunday, February 21, 2010 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Troxwell was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City and a daughter of the late H.B. Seals, Sr. and Rose Campbell Seals. Mrs. Troxwell was the owner and operator of several small businesses during her lifetime. She is preceded in death by: her husband, James Troxwell in 1985; a son, Lynn Troxwell; one sister, Lois Haney; and one niece, Rosalie Caldwell. Survivors include: one son, Jeff Troxwell of Johnson City; one daughter, Kim and her husband Wendell White of Johnson City; two granddaughters, Brianna White and Brittany White, both of Johnson City; one brother, H.B. Seals, Jr. of Johnson City; three sisters, Wanda Miller, LeQueta and her husband Richard Wishon and Sheila Whittaker, all of Johnson City; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog 'Bunny'?. The family of Maxine F. Troxwell will receive friends at Morris-Baker , Wednesday, February 24, 2010 from 6 to 8 PM. A chapel service will be conducted at 2 PM Thursday, February 25, 2010 in the Morris-Baker North Chapel. Rev. Joe Beaver will officiate. Interment will follow in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Richard Wishon, James Smith, Matthew Smith, Daniel Conner, Mike Higgins, Tony Smith and Wendell White. The honorary pallbearer will be Kermit Conner.
