Melissa Jane Pierce

Melissa Jane Rosenbaum Pierce, 82, Telford, died Sunday, June 22, 2014 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Melissa was a lifelong resident of Washington County and a daughter of the late Floyd David and Clara Mae Presley Rosenbaum In addition to her parents, Melissa was preceded in death by: her husband, Lawrence Carroll Pierce; one brother, William Paul 'Bud'? Rosenbaum; and three sisters, Nellie West, Ruby Ledford, and Ruthie LaScala. Survivors include: four children, Larry Pierce and his wife Debbie, Edith Reynolds and her husband Max, Angeline Pierce, and Billy Pierce; three brothers, Bobby, Timmy, and Marvin Rosenbaum; three sisters, Mabel Walker, April Miller, and Betty McGowan; and many beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. The family of Melissa Jane Pierce will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, June 24, 2014 in the Morris-Baker North Chapel. The funeral service will follow in the North Chapel at 8 pm Tuesday. Rev. Jerry Stout will officiate. The committal service will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in Washington County Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Minister, family, and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery by 11 am Wednesday for those services.
