Mercedes Mccrory

Mercedes Anaya McCrory, 94, of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Johnson City, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023.

Mercedes was born in Santander, Colombia, on August 14, 1928, to the late Jorge Anaya and Maria H. Gonzalez.

She attended services at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Johnson City.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Thomas J. McCrory.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Rafael Puerta, Victoria (Gary Strong) Palau, and Jorge (Pamela) Palau; grandchildren, Andres and Veronica Puerta, Ryan (Elizabeth) Ramsauer and Robert (Kelley) Ramsauer, and Dante and Alexandra Palau; great-grandchildren, Mila and soon to be born, Ryan II; and stepchildren, Richard (Nancy) McCrory, James (Judy) McCrory, Winslow (Charles) Umberger, and Jon (Monica) McCrory; step grandchildren Mary Shannon (Anthony) Williams, Christina (Paul) Voerman, Jill Adams, Richard (Tara) Adams, Lauren Umberger, Kimberly Neighbours.

There will be a Funeral Mass at 10:30 am on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
