Michael (Mike) Ray McCall, 72, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024, at his home in Gray, Tennessee.
Mike was born on October 29, 1951, in Johnson City, Tennessee. He was a 1971 graduate of Science Hill High School and he attended East Tennessee State University, where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.
After his retirement from the Washington County School System Maintenance Department and Builders First Source, Mike became a miniature racing enthusiast. This was a passion that he enjoyed, from building the cars to racing them – and winning – with his racing brethren in Greenville, Tennessee. His racing buddies lovingly referred to him as Mikey.
Mike never met a stranger and was always willing to sit, have a cup of coffee, and chat with anyone.
He was preceded in death by: his loving parents, Jack and Sue McCall; and a younger brother, Doug McCall.
Those remaining to cherish the memory of Mike include: his sister, Tonya Wilkes; niece, Elizabeth Rabb; and nephew, Bo Wilkes.

A graveside service for Mike is scheduled for 10:00 am on Tuesday August 20, 2024 at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Reverend Laura Bryant will be officiating the service.
