Michael Scott Earp

Michael Scott 'Mike'? Earp, Sr., 49, of Johnson City, died Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native of Marion, Virginia, son of William M. Earp, Sr. and Nancy Carole Dutton Earp. Mike was a truck driver and attended the Crossroads Church. He was a big fan of Virginia Tech and the Vols football teams. Survivors include: his wife, Penny Coffman Earp of the home; his parents, William 'Bill'? Earp, Sr. of Marion, VA and his mother, Nancy D. Earp of Johnson City, TN; a son Michael Scott 'Scotty'? Earp, Jr. of Johnson City; a step-son, Cody William Parks of Johnson City; three daughters, Kelli Marie Earp of Johnson City; a step-daughter, Amber Parks of Kingsport; Sydnei Brooke Earp and Morgan Wyatt Earp both of Johnson City; three brothers, William M. 'Billy'? Earp, Jr. of Johnson City, David Wyatt Earp and wife Julie of Marion, VA and his twin brother, Mark Sanford Earp and wife Lisa of Independence, VA; a granddaughter, Jazmin Coffey of Johnson City; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 5:00 pm in the North Chapel of the Morris '? Baker Funeral Home under the direction of Dr. Barry Burns. The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm until time of service at 5:00 pm.
