Mildred C. Ingram, 78, of 1004 North Barton Street, Johnson City, died Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Jasper, Tennessee, daughter of the late Ben and Mollie Shelton Collins. Mildred was a claims representative for the Social Security Administration and had received a Commissioners Citation for Outstanding Performance. She was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Aileen Clark. Survivors include: her husband of 57 years, Carl F. Ingram of the home; a son Carl Floyd Ingram, II of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Ellen and Bob Hurd of Gray; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Connie and William B. Crawford, Mary Haren all of Johnson City; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service is scheduled for Monday, February 2, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of the Morris '' Baker Funeral Home, under the direction Bill Merritt. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at seven. A committal service is scheduled for Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at the Roselawn Memory Gardens, at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be: DeWitt Ingram, Dennis Ingram, Tony, Phil and Steve Clark, Brad Haren, Mark Humphrey, Eddie Roberts and Darin Crawford.
