Mildred Eva Lunsford

Mildred Eva Lunsford, age 93, of 148 Winchester Court, Johnson City, Tennessee, died Friday, March 28, 2008 at her home. She was a native of Washington County and had lived all of her life in the area. Her parents were the late Dollie Eva McCurry Pate and the late Robert Pate. Her grandchildren and her beloved church, Lighthouse for Jesus were the special joys in her life.Mrs. Lunsford is survived by one son, Ronald Tabor; one niece, Bobbie Worden, both of Johnson City; five grandchildren, Ruth Ann Goodman of Elizabethton, Michael Tabor of Johnson City, Lora McGee of Telford, Crystal Mathis of Erwin and Kim Moon of Telford and eight great grandchildren.Funeral services for Mrs. Lunsford will be held Sunday at 8:00 PM in Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Rev. Bill C. Younce will officiate. Graveside services and burial will be at Monte Vista Memorial Park on Monday morning at 11:00 AM. Family and friends will gather at Morris-Baker at 10:30 to go in procession to the cemetery.
