Mildred M. Smith

Mildred M. Smith, 67, 436 Hamilton Street, Johnson City, died Friday, March 18, 2005, at her residence. Mrs. Smith was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County and a daughter of the late Cheseley and Dora Ann Denton Smith. Mrs. Smith was a member of Full Gospel Holiness Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Charles Smith; and one son, Stephen Charles Smith. Survivors include: four daughters, Barbara Green, of the home, Connie Rodefer and Teresa Lee, both of Jonesborough, and Judy Guinn, of Erwin; one son, David Smith, of the home; eleven grandchildren, Ricky Green, Tina Boone, Travis Green, Danny Green, Lisa Smith, Amy Suptin, Angela Smith, Steve Smith, Leah Rodefer, Stephen Rodefer, Brandi Litterl, Jason Austin and Cody Woods. The funeral service for Mrs. Mildred Smith will be conducted at 11 AM Monday, March 21, 2005, in the Full Gospel Holiness Church on N. Greenwood Drive, Johnson City. Rev. Jesse Hartley will officiate. Interment will follow in the Washington County Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be David Smith, Danny Green, David Littrel, Jackie Austin, Todd Rodefer and Megual Gutteric. Honorary pallbearers will be Rickey Green, Jason Austin and Daniel Gilips. Mrs. Smith will be returned to her home, 436 Hamilton Street, on Sunday afternoon where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Sunday evening.
