Nancy Ann Lowery

Nancy Ann McNabb Lowery, 57, of Gray, died Saturday, November 9, 2013 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was a lifelong resident of the Johnson City area and a daughter of Carl Kenneth and Alma Marie Miller McNabb of Johnson City. Nancy worked at the Johnson City Medical Center for 14 years. She was a member of Rich Acres Freewill Baptist Church. Nancy was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Kay McNabb. In addition to her parents, she is survived by: two sons, Gary and Kenneth Lowery, Gray; one sister, Wanda Laughren and her husband David, Johnson City; one brother, Carlos McNabb and his wife Loretta, Johnson City; four grandchildren, Chris Lowery, Gray, Ciera Greer and Ashley Heather Wright, Johnson City, and Kyleigh Sexton, Gatlinburg; two great grandchildren, Amelia and Sophia Greer, Johnson City; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family of Nancy Lowery will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM in the Morris-Baker South Chapel with Rev. Otis Banks officiating. Pallbearers will be: Ryan McNabb, Allen Laughren, David R. Laughren, Raymond Lowery, Gregg Lowery, and Mike Dupriest. Following the funeral service, family and friends will proceed to Washington County Memory Gardens for committal services. In lieu of flowers, the Lowery family requests donations to Wanda Laughren.
