Nancy Jane Rodgers, 68, of Johnson City, died Friday, November 4, 2011 at her residence. She was a native of Canfield, Ohio, daughter of the late Hubert and Elizabeth Davis Rodgers. Nancy was a graphic artist with the State Highway Administration of Maryland for many years. She was of the Methodist faith. In addition to her parents her longtime significant other, Robert Jaeger, preceded her in death. Her art encompassed many forms; she had surrounded her family with her creativity and wonderful imagination. She was also very active in the The Paint and Powder Theater Group. Survivors include: her son and daughter-in-law, Benjamin A. and Rechelle Fleck of Kingsport; her daughter and son-in-law, Christine E. Fleck and Dan Combs of Piney Flats; two grandchildren, Kelani and Kenzie Fleck also of Kingsport; a brother, Edward Rodgers of Canada. Memorials may be made in the form of contributions to: the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 733 Third Avenue, New York City, NY 10017.
