Nancy Kaiser Johnson, 89, of Johnson City, died Sunday, January 25, 2015 at NHC of Johnson City. She was a native of Oak Park, Illinois, daughter of the late Arthur Roy Kaiser, Sr. and Blanche Crafts Kaiser. Nancy was a homemaker and loving mother. She was a very active member of the Watauga Avenue Presbyterian Church, and was active in many charitable groups, including Womens Ministries and Loaves and Fishes. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by a son, Dick Lansden Johnson, Jr.; two brothers, Arthur Roy Kaiser, Jr. and Andrew Kaiser. Nancys survivors include: her husband of 68 years, Dick Landsden Johnson of Johnson City; two children, Dr. Sandra Johnson Eggers and her husband Dr. Frank Eggers of Memphis, Fred Kaiser Johnson and his wife, Dr. Teresa Keller of Emory, VA; seven grandchildren, Dr. Leann Eggers Linam and her husband, Dr. Matt Linam of Little Rock, AR, Hamilton Eggers and his wife Ashley of Memphis, Amanda Johnson and her husband Mike Hill of Nashville, Dr. Brian Lacy Johnson and his wife, Amanda of Salt Lake City, UT, Allison Johnson Horne and her husband Matt of Bridgeport, WV, Annie Johnson Brown and her husband, Rev. Brad Brown of Durham, NC, and Tyler Lansden Johnson and his wife, Mary of Durham, NC; eleven great grandchildren; a brother, Wilbur Kaiser of Cleveland, OH; a sister, Betty Tim Kaiser Wheeler of Mequon, MN; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm in the Chapel at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm under the direction of Rev. George Rolling and Rev. Maggie Lauderer. A committal service will be conducted at 2:00 pm in the Monte Vista Memorial Park following the funeral service. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
