Nancy Ohrtman Hart, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend joined her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday April 10th. She was preceded in death by her mother, Beatrice Hazel Noe, father, Robert Reid Anderson, and husband of 37 years, James Webb Ohrtman. Born in Torrington, Wyoming, Nancy graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1960 with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. After college she moved to Long Island, New York where she married husband James Ohrtman, raised their two daughters Leslie and Jennifer with patience and tireless devotion, and passionately taught the children of Flower Hill Elementary School for 30 years. Through the national P.E.O. she graciously provided her home as a bed and breakfast for fellow members. In 2001 she married Piney Flats native Robert C. Hart with whom she spent the next 13 years treasuring each day and sharing in their mutual passions of travel, family, fellowship, service, and unwavering faith in God. Throughout her life Nancy had a smile for everyone and never met a stranger; her warm heart and vibrant spirit resulted in friendships with individuals from all walks of life and all corners of the world. She also generously shared her many talents?gardening, quilting, painting, and entertaining, to name just a few?with new acquaintances and lifelong friends alike.
