Naomi Katherine Zeoli, 92, of Johnson City, died Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Johnson City Medical Center following an illness. She was a native of Greeneville, TN, born on June 5, 1924 to Roy and Fannie Ellenburg. She cherished her many relatives from the Greeneville area. Naomi was a graduate of Greeneville High School and although she worked outside the home in early years, her true passion was family and she spent most of her life devoted to them. She was a faithful servant of Christ and member of Keystone Freewill Baptist Church In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Joe Henry Zeoli; daughter, Alice Ann; and grandson, Coby Eric. Survivors include one sister, Frances Ellenburg Fezell of Greeneville; four sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Carolyn Zeoli of Telford, Dennis and Phyllis Zeoli of Johnson City, Alvin and Bobbie Zeoli of Johnson City, and Teddy and Doris Zeoli of Elizabethton. Grandchildren and step grandchildren include Tony Zeoli, Timothy Zeoli, Dawn Zeoli, James Richards, Matthew Zeoli, Travis Zeoli, Portia South, Rebecca McClain, and Josh McClain. She is also survived by several great grandchildren. The family of Naomi Katherine Zeoli will receive friends from 5 pm to 7 pm Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Keystone Freewill Baptist Church, 110 Bettie St., Johnson City. The funeral service will follow at 7 pm Sunday at the church under the direction of Rev. Terry Jones. A committal service is scheduled for 10 am Monday, August 1, 2016 at Mountain Home National Cemetery under the direction of Rev. Bill Greer. Minister, family, and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery at 9:50 am Monday for the service. Pallbearers will be selected from family.
