Norman Thomas Randolph, 81, of Gray, died Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Lifecare Center of Gray. Mr. Randolph was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City and the son of the late Clay and Carrie Mae Godsey Randolph. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Mr. Randolph was a former building contractor and employee of the State of Tennessee highway department. Survivors include: a son, Gregory Thomas Randolph, and his wife Susan F. Randolph, Johnson City; daughter, Deborah Lynne Randolph, Johnson City; grandson, Griffin Akira Thomas Randolph, Johnson City; sister, Sharon Sparks, Damascus, MD; nephew, Michael C. Sparks, Monrovia, MD; and niece, Angela F. Frankenberger, Monrovia, MD. Funeral services for Norman Thomas Randolph will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday in the Monte Vista Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Pallbearers will be: Charles Dolinger, Derek Flack, Shawn Samier, and Jarrett Whitson. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the mausoleum chapel.
