January 25, 1943 — September 1, 2020

Pablo Brizuela Gonzalez, 77 went to his internal rest on September 1, 2020 at Johnson City Medical Center.

Pablo was born in Palos Alto, Jalisco and raised in Los Altos Guadalajara, Jalisco. He was born on January 25th, 1943.

At an early age, Pablo had to work to help provide for his family. School was not an option for him in this era in time. As a young boy, he knew how to fix bikes and he used it to his best advantages to help provide for his family. As a teenager, he began boxing. In in his early 20’s, Pablo moved to the United States and soon after, his parents and siblings followed him. Pablo worked as a router at Rohr Airplane Industry in Chula Vista, CA, as well as a tree trimmer at the University of San Diego. He then found what he was best at and took a job as an auto wrecker mechanic in Otay, CA.

Pablo Gonzalez then met Jeanet Quinteros and soon after had four beautiful children. He loved commuting from Tijuana, Mexico to National City, CA. He was a very handsome, outgoing man, who loved music and singing with his family. As years went on and there were many life changes, Pablo was separated from his wife and children and lived alone in Tijuana, Mexico for many years. As he grew older and was no longer able to care for himself, his oldest son, Paul, helped him make the decision to move to Tennessee in 2015 with his daughter, Gloria, her husband, Umberto, and grandchildren. He resided with them for two years before moving into his own apartment. He loved taking his walks and riding the bus to go downtown. He loved to go every Saturday to the Mexican restaurant and have his bowl of Menudo. After a couple years of living alone, in February 2020, he was moved into a nursing home where he resided until his death.
