Pamela Mae “Pam” Hankla Brown, 63, of Johnson City went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at the Abundant Christian Living Community after a brief illness.
She was a native of Johnson City, daughter of Howard McKinley Hankla and the late Mary Marie Sliger Hankla.
Pam was a member of the Brookmead Church of Christ.
She enjoyed working in her flower garden, solving puzzle books, and old TV shows, like Gunsmoke.
In addition to her mother, her husband, Henry Clayton Brown, Jr. preceded her in death in 2002.
Survivors including her father; a sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Bruce Jones; a brother and sister-in-law, Curtis D. and Peggy Hankla.
A committal service will be held for Pam at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 8, 2022, at Mt. Home National Cemetery (Historical Section) under the direction of Rev. Mike Richards. Following service, she will be interred with her husband. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Way, Memphis, TN 38105.
