Pamela Lois Winchester

Pamela Lois Winchester, 68, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and friend, passed away suddenly on Monday, March 31, 2025.

Pamela was a retired Registered Nurse, who touched countless lives with her compassionate care throughout her career. She had a kind heart and a warm spirit, always putting others first and never meeting a stranger.

Pam had a deep and unshakeable love for her friends and family, and her warmth and compassion touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. Her legacy is one of boundless kindness, unconditional love, and infectious laughter that brightened every room she entered. Whether through small acts of thoughtfulness or grand gestures, she made it her mission to bring joy to others. She was the kind of person who could always be counted on for a listening ear, a word of encouragement, or a thoughtful gesture.

Pam's adventurous spirit led her to explore the world with a sense of curiosity and wonder, always eager to discover new places, cultures, and experiences. Above all, it was her unwavering support for those she loved that defined her. She stood by her family and friends through thick and thin, offering her encouragement, loyalty, and a mountain of strength, no matter the circumstances. Pam will forever be remembered as a beacon of positivity, selflessness, and genuine care, and her influence will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Pamela is survived by: her son, Aaron Jerome Spencer of Johnson City, Tennessee; her daughter, Amy Elizabeth Spencer (Anthony Horn) of Inman, South Carolina. She will also be profoundly missed by her mother, Peggy L. Davidson of Abingdon, Virginia; her sister, Rebecca R. Peterson (Phillip Peterson) of Bluefield, Virginia; and several nephews, nieces, and extended family members.

Pamela's much loved significant other and travel companion, Clinton Reed, of Christiansburg, Virginia, was an integral part of her life, and together they created a wealth of cherished memories that will forever be treasured.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Kenny Winchester; her father, Trace Davidson, Jr.; her brother, Charles Davidson; and her nephews, Stephen and Abraham Peterson.

A visitation of friends will be held on Friday, April 4, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Morris-Baker Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 pm at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Phil Peterson will be officiating the graveside service. The Appalachian Highlands Nurses Honor Guard will be performing the honors.
