Pansy Virginia Arnett

Pansy Virginia Arnett, 86, of 268 Mosier Road, Johnson City, died Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Washington County, daughter of the late Bert and Rebal Loudy Swanner. Pansy was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Long Arnett in 1995 and a son, James Arnett. Survivors include: 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Wallace Arnett, Jerry and Joyce Arnett: a sister, Shirley Swanner all of Johnson City; twelve grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service is scheduled for Monday, September 28, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Monte Vista Memorial Park, under the direction of Pastor Dexter Hoilman. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. when a procession to the cemetery will leave. Active pallbearers will be: Philip Miller, Mark, Hack, Rick, Timmy and Eddie Arnett.
