Patricia B. Williams

Mrs. Patricia B. Williams, 98, Johnson City, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2010 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Williams was a native of Andrews, South Carolina and had lived most of her life in Kingsport. She was the daughter of the late John E. and Ellen Wright Barrineau. In addition to her parents her husband, Julian E. Williams, M.D. and eight brothers and sisters also preceded her in death. Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and a member of the First Broad Street United Methodist Church in Kingsport. She was a member of the First Broad Street United Methodist Church Womens Circle Six, a 500 plus hours volunteer at the Holston Valley Medical Center Auxiliary and a member of the Kingsport Doctors Wives Club. Survivors include: three sons, Robert J. Williams and his wife Patty of Memphis, Thomas E. Williams of South Carolina and James F. Williams and his wife Jana of Johnson City; seven grandchildren, James J. Williams, Justin F. Williams, J. Elizabeth Williams, Thomas J. Williams, Heather B. Williams, Lisa W. Williams and Todd J. Williams. The funeral service for Mrs. Patricia B. Williams will be conducted at 1 PM Saturday, February 13, 2010 in the First Broad Street United Methodist Church Chapel. Rev. Jack P. Weikel will officiate. A service of entombment will follow in the Oak Hill Memorial Park in Kingsport. The family will receive friends at the church from 12 noon to 1 PM prior to the service. The family request that memorial contributions be made to the Coalition For Kids, Inc., P. O. Box 3156, Johnson City, Tn. 37602.
