Patricia Lynne Cantrell

Our Heavenly Father sent His Holy Angels to take our dear precious Patricia Lynne Cantrell to be with Him in her Heavenly home Easter Sunday, March 27, unexpectedly due to complications from pneumonia. Lynne was born February 25, 1963 in Hendersonville, NC. She moved to Durham, NC 26 years ago and then to Siler City, NC two years ago. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Eliza Willis and Dewey and Betty Cantrell; aunts, Oma Trent, Vivian Blair, Ova Starnes, Frankie Barnett, Eva Matlock, Venice Sizemore, and Mary Caldwell; uncles, Gaffey Willis and Giles Willis; and several cousins. She leaves behind her mother, Jean Willis Cantrell, of Johnson City, TN; father, Cecil Thomas Cantrell and his wife Teresa Cantrell, of Asheville, NC; sister, Anne Elizabeth Cantrell Dyer and nephew, William Loren ?Will' Dyer, of Johnson City, TN; brother, Thomas Allan Cantrell, of Chapel Hill, NC; aunts, Delphia Marie ?Dell' Dennison, of Elm Grove, WI, and Violet Kate ?Kay' Filyaw, of Hoquiam, WA; cousins, Brenda Wilson, Alisha Wilson, and Mandy Patton, of Knoxville, TN; several other cousins; her lovable kitty cat, ?Pinkie', who is now a certified service cat and will be visiting all who need her in Lynne?s memory; her very dear and special friend, Elizabeth Bolen, her son, Gavin, and daughter, Tiegan; and many friends. Lynne attended Emmaus Baptist Church, Pastor Steve Moore, Siler City, NC. A graveside service is scheduled for 1 pm Saturday, April 2, 2016 in Monte Vista Memorial Park, Johnson City, TN. Rev. Michael Lester will officiate. Minister, family, and friends are requested to meet at Morris-Baker Funeral Home at 12:30 pm Saturday to go in procession to the cemetery for the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to: Hospice and Palliative Center of Alamance Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215. Lynne loved the Lord and was very loving, caring, and compassionate, with a very big heart, always helping anyone and everyone in need.
