Patricia M Smith, 70, 1505 Lynnwood Drive, Johnson City, died Wednesday March 26, 2008 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Smith was a native and life long resident of Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Frankie Mitchell. She was a cook for the East Tennessee Human Resource Agency. She was a member of the Women of The Moose. Survivors include: her husband, James Smith of the home; two daughters, Janice French and her husband Steven, of Warner Robins, Georgia and Jeanna Cash and her husband James, of Jonesborough; two sons, James K. Smith, of Jonesborough and Jeffrey Smith, of Johnson City; one sister, Melanie Mitchell, of Paris, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Timothy French, Christine French, Cynthia Smith, Keith Smith, Michaela Hall and Jacob Smith; three great grandchildren, Kayleigh Chambers, Adam French and Zackery Smith. The funeral service for Patricia M. Smith will be conducted at 8 PM Thursday March 27, 2008 in the Morris-Baker North Chapel. Rev. Bob Edmonds will officiate. The committal service will be conducted at 2 PM Friday in the Washington County Memory Gardens. Family and friends will meet at the funeral chapel at 1:15 PM Friday to go in procession to the cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 6 to 8 PM Thursday prior to the service.
