Patsy Ellen Wooten

Mrs. Patsy Ellen Eastridge Wooten, age 72, of Jonesborough, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Wooten was a native of Carroll County, VA. She was the daughter of the late Okard Charlie and Eva Combs Eastridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her beloved husband, Gerald Wooten; three brothers, James, Paul, and Walter Eastridge; and one sister, Marie Sawyers. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: two daughters, Brenda Hartley and her husband Billy, and Barbara Bradley; three grandchildren, Brandon Hartley, Derek Stiltner, and Hannah Bradley; two step grandchildren, Joey and Maria Hartley; one sister, Barbara Tompkins; and several nieces and nephews. The family of Mrs. Patsy Wooten will receive friends from 10 AM to 12 PM Tuesday, April 1, 2014 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. The funeral service will be conducted at 12 PM Tuesday in the South Chapel. Pastor Dewey Ward will officiate. The committal service will follow in the Washington County Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
