Patsy Jean Motley

Mrs. Patsy Jean Newton Motley, 68, 129 Renfro Road, Elizabethton passed away Friday, December 25, 2009 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. Mrs. Motley was a native of Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late Tommy and Frances Casteel Newton. In addition to her parents her husband, Edward 'Eddie'? Motley and one brother, Marshall Newton also preceded her in death. Mrs. Motley was a chemist for DuPont and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: one sister, Delores Leach of Elizabethton; two brothers, Tommy Newton of Johnson City and Jerry Newton of Telford; several nieces and nephews. The graveside committal service for Mrs. Patsy Jean Newton Motley will be conducted at 1 PM Wednesday, December 30, 2009 in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Rev. Bob Edmonds will officiate. Minister, family and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery by 12:50 PM on Wednesday.
