Patsy Jean Stansberry

Patsy Jean Stansberry, 66, 2025 North Lane, Johnson City, died Friday March 28, 2008 at her residence.Mrs. Stansberry was a native and life long resident of Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late Geter and Pauline Greene. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death one brother, Bobby Greene; one granddaughter, Michelle Gouge.She was a Nursing Assistant. Mrs. Stansberry was of the Baptist faith.Survivors include: one son, Randy Stansberry, of Johnson City; two daughters, Kathy Gouge and Lori Grindstaff both of Johnson City; five sisters, Mary Dugger, of Johnson City, Dorothy Waller, of Corona, California, Brenda Hyatt, of Johnson City, Janis Torbett, of Jonesborough and Penni Begley, of Johnson City; special aunt, Doris Greene; three grandchildren, Brandon Gouge, Caleb Grindstaff and Tristan Grindstaff; special friend, Carolyn.The funeral service for Patsy Jean Stansberry will be conducted at 8 PM Sunday March 30, 2008 in the Morris-Baker North Chapel. Rev. Jack Maupin will officiate. The committal will be conducted at 10 AM Monday in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers. Family and friends will meet at the funeral chapel at 9:30 AM Monday to go in procession to the cemetery.The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 6 to 8 PM Sunday prior to the service.
