Paul Huffine

September 30, 1930 — March 5, 2014

Mr. Paul Huffine, age 83, passed away on March 5, 2014, at the Courtyards in Johnson City. Mr. Huffine was a native of Washington County and the son of the late Charles and Vesta Huffine. After graduating from Jonesboro High School, Mr. Huffine worked as a salesman for Swift and Co. He was a member of Skyline Heights Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Huffine was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Patricia Huffine, and three brothers, Ralph Huffine, Glen Huffine, Charles 'Junior' Huffine, and two sisters, Mary Lowe and Pearl Leonard. Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Melisa and Doug Blair, Cheri and Jim Miller; three grandchildren, Holly Blair Booker, James Miller and Will Miller; four great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Chickie Renfro, Kitty Livingston and Bernice Huffine; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Tressie Hale. Many thanks for the kindness of the nurses and staff at the Courtyards and the Johnson City Medical Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shepherds Inn, P.O. Box 2214, Elizabethton, TN 37643 or the charity of your choice. The graveside committal service for Mr. Paul Huffine will be conducted at 2:30 PM Saturday, March 8, 2014, in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Rev. Donald Page will officiate.
