Mr. Paul Samuel Manning, age 66, of Jonesborough, passed away January 30, 2013, at his residence. Mr. Manning was a native of Elizabethton. He was the son of the late Samuel Jackson Manning and Anna Muriel Stout Manning. In addition to his parents one brother, James 'Snake'? Manning also preceded him in death. Mr. Manning was a U.S. Army veteran. He was the owner and operator of the Crockett Auction and Salvage. Survivors include his loving wife, Margaret Louise Manning; two daughters, Robin Bradshaw of Elizabethton and Teressa Campbell and her husband Bill of Johnson City; two sons, Paul Anthony Manning and his wife Frances of Telford and Brian Manning and his wife Angel of Jonesborough; two sisters, Jean Turner and Jacqueline Reese and her husband Carol; eleven grandchildren, David Bradshaw, Stacey Bradshaw, BJ Campbell, Tiffany Campbell Miller, Billi Jean Nikki Campbell, Whitney Bowen and her husband Brian, Kerstynn Whitaker, Madajah Manning, Paul'? Xavier'? Manning, Jody Holloway and Brittany Holloway; ten great grandchildren. The funeral service for Mr. Paul Samuel Manning will be conducted at 8 PM Saturday, February 2, 2013 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Jerry Cornett and Rev. Darrell Slagle will officiate. The graveside committal service will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday in the Washington County Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The Boone Dam Post # 4933 and the Tennessee National Guard will accord military honors. Family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home by 1:15 PM Sunday to go in procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Saturday at Morris-Baker prior to the service.
