?Say not in grief ?He is no more? But in thankfulness that he was.' Paul V. Williams, 80, of Gray, passed with peace on January 18th with his family and special friends at his side. Paul was a member of the Gray United Methodist church and always enjoyed listening to the choir. He also enjoyed being a member of the Johnson City Moose and Elk Lodge. Paul leaves behind to cherish his memory: his wife, Jackie Williams; son, Kevin Williams; daughter, Robin Williams; grandson, Grayson Carswell; and sister-in-law, Bonita Davis. Paul will be missed and remembered by many. The family would like to give a special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Johnson city Regional Cancer Center. The Williams family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 PM Monday, January 22, 2018, in the Morris-Baker Dogwood Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Dr. Dennis Flaugher officiating. The committal service will follow immediately after at the Chapel Mausoleum in the Washington County Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Donald Bagley, Tony Clark, Mike Downey, Steve Estes, Randy Hottiner, William Mominee, and Jeff Payne, with honorary pallbearer Tommy Townsend. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Gray United Methodist Church Building Fund, 2108 Oak Street, Gray, TN 37615.
