Revelations 21:4 Pauline Hensley Church received her glorified body on Tuesday, December 31, 2013. She was born in Knoxville, TN on January 7, 1929 to James Hensley and Vassie (Smith) Hensley. Pauline lived most of her life in Johnson City and had worked at Mahoneys for 24 years. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Skyline Heights Baptist Church for 66 years. In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by: her husband, Raymond Church; five brothers, Bruce, Hugh, William 'Bill'?, Edgar, and Nat Hensley; and five sisters, Mary Berry, Josephine Long, Lucy King, May Crum, and Rose Lee Guthrie. Survivors include: two sons, David Church and his wife Rita, of Johnson City, and Darrell Church, of the home; four grandchildren, Neil Church and Cyndi Church, both of Johnson City, Brittany Church of Kingsport, and Derek Church and his wife Amber, of Jacksonville, NC; and two great grandchildren, Rayanna Brandt and Arianna Byrd. The family of Ms. Pauline Church will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday, January 3, 2014 in the Morris-Baker North Chapel. The funeral service will follow in the North Chapel at 8 PM. Pastor Donald Page will officiate. The committal service will be conducted at 11 AM Saturday in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be: Neil Church, Derek Church, Steven Bingham, Donald Banks, Don Cardwell, Jr., David Hicks, and Don Cardwell, Sr. Minister, family, and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery for those services.
