Pauline Edmondson

Pauline Gourley Edmondson, 75, of Johnson City, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2010 in Harrisonburg, VA.She was born in Clintwood, VA but had lived most of her adult life in Johnson City. She was a daughter of the late, Howard and Mary Ellen Newberry Gourley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herb 'Slim'? Edmondson and by 3 sisters and 5 brothers. Mrs. Edmondson was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include; four sons, Edgar Holtzclaw and Robert Clifton Holtzclaw and his wife, Linda all of Kingsport, Larry Thomas Edmondson and his wife, Evelyn of Johnson City and Martin P. Jones of Mountain City; one brother, Martin B. Gourley of Rogersville; three Grandchildren, Robert, Shane and Travis Holtzclaw; four Great Grandchildren, Dusty, Shanna ,Cody and Faith and a special friend Ben Moran of DE; several nieces and nephewsFuneral services will be conducted at 8:00pm Thursday, November 5, 2010 from the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Palmer Jones will officiate. Burial services will be conducted at 1:00pm Friday from Roselawn Memory Gardens. The family and friends will leave the funeral home at 12:30 pm in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Holtzclaw, Shane Holtzclaw, Travis Holtzclaw, Dusty Holtzclaw, Dewey Lechtenstine and Joe Derosier. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00pm Thursday.
