Peggy Ann Webb

Peggy Ann Webb, 73, of 111 Thomas and Webb Road, Johnson City, TN, went to be with the Lord on April 3, 2010 at the Johnson City Medical Center after a lengthy illness.Mrs. Webb was a lifelong resident of Washington County, TN. She was the daughter of the late Bert and Bertha McKinney Sheets. In addition to her parents she was also preceded by a loving sister Connie Scardo and a special nephew, Hugh 'Bug'? Paul, Jr. She was a member of Union Church of Christ. After retiring from the Veterans Administration Canteen she enjoyed working at the E.T.S.U. Bookstore. The Bookstore employees and students became an extended family to her that she loved dearly. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Lloyd: she was a second mother to nieces Donna Webb, Beverly Bennett and nephew, Joe Webb. Brothers in law, Lonnie Webb and Reece Bryant, sisters in law, Judy Webb, Betty Laws and Iva Lee Webb, nieces, Renee Pons, Cathy Barr, Sharon Bryant and Colleen Cramer, nephews, Leonard Laws, Jr., Rick Laws, Pete Laws, Tom Webb and Great nieces, Becky and Kristy Bennett, Great nephews, Justin Holsclaw and Wade 'Lil Bug'? Paul. Great great nephew, Memphis Scott and several extended family members and special friends. Funeral services will be conducted from the Morris-Baker North Chapel at 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 6, 2010. Mr. Jim Franklin will officiate. Burial services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday from the Roselawn Memory Gardens. The family and friends will meet at the cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Joe Webb, Scotty Bennett, Roger Tinker, David Arnold, Justin Holsclaw and Justin Malone. Honorary pallbearers will be Phillip Pons and George Barr. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Tuesday.
