Peggy Doris Marshall

Peggy Doris Marshall, 78, of Johnson City, died Sunday, March 28, 2010 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Johnson City, daughter of the late Carl E. Weems , Sr. and Ada C. Copas Weems. Peggy was a former employee of Proffitts Department Store. She was a member of the Downtown Christian Church. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, George G. Marshall and two brothers, Carl E. Weems, Jr. and James R. 'J. R.'? Weems.Survivors include: three daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie and C. J. Lewis of Mt. City, Cindy and Randy Anderson of Johnson City, Penny and Tim Anderson of Johnson City; a step-son Ken Marshall of Johnson City; three grandchildren, Alex and Carrie Potter, Bradley Potter and Taylor Anderson all of Johnson City; a nephew, Carl 'Buddy'? Weems and his wife Lisa of Johnson City; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at the Morris '? Baker Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the South Chapel at 8:00 p.m. under the direction of Dr. Eddie Fine. A committal service will be conducted on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at the Monte Vista Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. Active pallbearers will be selected from her family members. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home to leave in procession by 10:40 a. m. Memorials may be made to the Downtown Christian Church Building Fund, 335 E.
