Perrin T. Croy of Memphis, TN, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015, at Signature Health Care in Memphis, TN. Perrin was a native of Marks, MS, but lived for more than 50 years in Johnson City before moving to Memphis. Perrin attended Blue Mountain College and was a graduate of the University of Mississippi. In Johnson City, she worked as an assistant librarian at Science Hill High School before moving on to the Admissions Office of East Tennessee State University. She was a long time member of First Presbyterian Church in Johnson City. She was preceded in death by: her husband of over fifty years, Kermit Lee Croy; her parents, Lee and Edith Turner; and her sister, Lucy Turner. She is survived by: her sister, Edith West of Brandon, MS; her three children, Laura Croy Burgess and husband Chad of Memphis, TN; Ellen Croy Civera and husband Glenn of Memphis, TN; and Lee Croy and wife Sheryl of Duluth, GA; seven grandchildren, Joshua Burgess and wife Tracey of Southaven, MS, Jesse Burgess and wife Brittany of Ann Arbor, MI, Jared Burgess of Fort Collins, CO, Matthew Civera and wife Rebecca of Denver, CO, and Emily Civera of Memphis, TN, Caroline and Walt Croy of Duluth, GA; two great grandchildren, Jacob and Lucy Burgess of Southaven, MS. The family of Perrin Croy will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM Saturday, January 2, 2015 at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow at 12:30 PM at Monte Vista Memorial Park.
