Phyllis Ann Adams

Phyllis Ann Hoffman Adams, 82, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018, at Lakebridge Health Care Center in Johnson City, Tennessee. Phyllis was a native of Huntington, Indiana, and was the daughter of the late Walter and Beulah Kessler Hoffman. Phyllis spent her formative years in Huntington, where she grew up attending Trinity Methodist Church. She graduated from Huntington High School in 1954. She attended that which is now International Business College and worked as a secretary at General Electric in Fort Wayne. She went on to work for the Indiana University School of Business in Bloomington, and Fisher-Body in Marion. In addition her parents, Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Adams, and four brothers. Survivors include: two daughters, Susan Bass, and her husband Mike, of Jonesborough, Tennessee, and Angela Adams of San Diego, California, as well as several nieces and nephews. Phyllis was full of life, love, and laughter and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Family and friends are asked to meet at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery by 12:50 PM for a 1:00 PM committal service Friday, March 2, 2018.
