Pinkey Hubbard Guinn, 79, of Johnson City, died Friday, August 14, 2015 in Lakebridge Health Care Center. Pinkey was a native of Carter County and had lived in Washington County for the past 50 years. She was a daughter of the late Zeke and Suedy Hubbard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Guinn, and a grandson, James Guinn. Pinkey was a good, down-to-earth Christian woman. She enjoyed going to church and spending time with family. Survivors include: her loving husband for 61 years, Vance Guinn; eight children, Carolyn Bufkin, Barbara Hoilman, Patricia Guinn, Kathy Hicks, Frances Tarpley, Lisa Russell, Tammy Kelly, and Jerry Guinn; and more than 40 grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family of Pinkey Guinn will receive friends from 11 am until 12 pm Monday, August 17, 2015 in the Morris-Baker Funeral Home. Following the visitation, family and friends will proceed to the Washington County Memory Gardens for a 1:00 pm graveside service. Deacon Alfred Crum will officiate. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
