Polly Ann Peters

Polly Ann Peters, 79, of Johnson City, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at the Asbury Place of Johnson City following a long illness. She was a native of Embreeville, TN, daughter of the late James and Florence Rodgers Helton. Polly was one of several children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Peters, Sr. Polly was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: her daughter, Barbara Arnett and her partner, LeRoy Fitzgerald of Johnson City; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Paul Peters, Jr. and Sharon, Jerry Peters and Harold 'Bo'? Peters all of Johnson City; six grandchildren, Angie, Sherry, Christal, Kevin, Jessica and Paula; five great grandchildren, Brandon, Alizabeth, Chrispin, Katelynn and Skyler; several nieces and nephews; longtime best friends, Irene and Jeanette. The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter on Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm (2607 Louise Street, Johnson City, TN 37601). A private committal service will be conducted at Monte Vista Memorial Park.
