Ralph 'Jack'? Miller 76, of Johnson City, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Johnson City. He was an elder of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Jack was the former owner of Jack Miller Body Shop and Jacks Trains and Hobbys. He was an avid train collector and a member of the T. C. A. He was a Johnson City native and a son of the late, Ralph David and Ruby Elizabeth Boyd Miller. Survivors include; his wife, Emily; three children, Ralph Jackson Miller II and his wife Mary Thomas Miller of McAllen, TX, Bree Leeann Miller of Knoxville and Julie Miller Griffith and her husband Wayne of Johnson City; one brother, David Joe Miller and his wife Robin of Atlanta, GA. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM Wednesday, February 23, 2011 from the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Bishop Z. Thomas Cannon will officiate. Burial services will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00am from the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Friends will serve as pallbearers. The family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 10:45am Thursday and proceed to the cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 until 7:00pm on Wednesday. Military honors will be conducted at the cemetery.
