Ralph Jones

Ralph Jones, 86, Johnson City, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Agape Nursing & Rehab. Ralph was born on June 15, 1931 to the late Bernie and Belle Bowman Jones. Ralph was born in Johnson City, spent 27 years in Aurora, IL, ten years in Detroit, MI and then returned to Johnson City. He was a very talented wood worker. After retirement, he worked as a janitor and in the food court at Johnson City Mall. In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by: two spouses, Ruby Stout Jones and Charlotte Jones; one son, Billy Ray Jones; one granddaughter, Ruby G. Jones; five brothers, Paul Jones, Morris Allen, Bernie Jones, Jr., Charles Jones and Bill Jones; five sisters, Katherine Hensley, Pearl Jones, Rosie Jones, Louise Jones and Nellie Jones. Survivors include: his son, Donley Jones and his wife Janet; two daughters, Rita Jones and Cindy Jones; grandchildren, Emma and her husband Allen Jones-Laughren, Donley Jones, Jr., Jason Jones, Jeremy and his wife Angie Jones, Jenny Martin and Michael Moreno; several great grandchildren including two special ones, Christopher Andrew and Gabbrielle Alexis, who visited Ralph often at Agape; and a very special, life long friend, Dolly Conley and her family. The family of Ralph Jones will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday, January 15, 2018, at Morris-Baker. The committal service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Washington County Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet in the mausoleum chapel by 10:50 AM.
