Raum Ellis

Raum “Sid” Ellis, age 55 of Johnson City, Tennessee passed away unexpectedly on July 24, 2024. Sid has been a lifelong resident of Johnson City, and was born here on April 4, 1969, to the late Mildred Ellis. He was a self-employed Contractor, who never met a stranger. Sid will be remembered for his outgoing and funny personality, love of football, especially the Philadelphia Eagles, and his caring heart. He loved animals and would go out of his way to save them. 

He was Preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Ellis and Father, John Willis, brother, Shawn Ellis; sisters, Deberah Hall and Dot Bittinger; Nephews James Hall, Dereck Whisting and Danny Queen, and stepson Jimmy Arnold II.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Ellis, cherished daughters, Sydney Ellis and Amber Lane, stepdaughter, Jessica Arnold, grandson, Kingsley and step granddaughters, Aubrey and Averie, sister and brother-in-law Dianah and David Queen, brothers Richard Freeman and Robert Ellis. 

He will be deeply missed by several nieces and nephews along with his fur babies Bubba and Jaxy.
