Raymond “Keith” McCrary, 59, of Johnson City, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Keith was born in Johnson City to his loving parents Raymond Odell McCrary, Jr. and Violet Christine Rogers McCrary.
He graduated from Science Hill High School in 1983.
His first job was working for his father, who owned Johnson City Radio and T.V. This experience would make an impression upon him and became an entrepreneurial spirit that he would carry with him throughout his life. Keith started and operated Hometown Rentals in Elizabethton. Later he would be the founder of Biker Wear, which had a humble beginning at the Tri-cities Flea Market but grew to become a very successful business. Biker Wear was more than a business to him. It has brought many people together through the years and everyone that has been a part of it are considered family. Keith was a collector and fan of Chevrolet Corvettes. He loved to learn new things, build new things, and work on things. He was rarely serious and loved to make people laugh. Sending funny videos to his children was a favorite of his, along with taking his dog Kilo to Dairy Queen for an ice cream. Keith was very loved by those who knew him and he is deeply missed.
Along with his parents, Keith is preceded in death by: his loving wife, Deborah Ann McCrary; and two brothers, Kenneth Lynn McCrary and Roger Allen McCrary.
Those remaining to cherish his memory include: two sons, Collin Ray McCrary (wife Jordan) and Parker Blake McCrary; one daughter, Lawren Paige McCrary Agnew (husband Caleb); two grandchildren, Braxton Chase Agnew and Roman Luke McCrary; and one sister, Patricia McCrary Ingram.
A visitation for family and friends is scheduled for 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 18, 2024 in the Oak Hall of Morris-Baker Funeral Home.
