Rebecca 'Becky'? Ephraim, 74, of Jonesborough, died Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the John M. Reed Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Washington County, a daughter of the late Filmore D. and Mary Hay Sanders. Becky was a member of the Munsey Memorial Untied Methodist Church but had most recently attended the First Church of the Brethren in Johnson City. She was a retired employee of the East Tennessee State University. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Ephraim in 2001; a brother, Filmore D. Sanders, Jr.; a sister, Nancy Sanders. Becky loved to volunteer at the Storytelling Convention in Jonesborough. Survivors include: three sisters and three brothers-in-law, Rachel and Charles Hopson, Sarah and Ralph Isenberg all of Johnson City, Martha and Gary Odell of Limestone; a brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Sheila Sanders of Jonesborough; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service is scheduled for Sunday, February 17, 2013 at 3:00 pm in the Monte Vista Memorial Park, under the direction of Bo Deaton, Minister. The family will receive friends at Morris '? Baker Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm then leave in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family members.
