Renia Campbell, 67, 1407 East Unaka Avenue, Johnson City, died Tuesday, September 6, 2005, in the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Campbell was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County and was a daughter of the late Gaither and Annie Woodby Bennett. She was a homemaker and a member of the True Gospel FWB Church. Mrs. Campbell is preceded in death by: a son, Johnny Lee Campbell; three brothers; and three sisters. Survivors include her husband, Charlie Campbell, of the home; seven daughters, Kathy Ann Inks, Betty Jean Turbyfill, Teresa Lynn Turbyfill and Ruth Ann Lichtenstine, all of Johnson City, Wanda Faye Clawson, Barbara Sue Clawson and Linda Marie Clawson, all of Roan Mountain; two sons, Charles Junior Campbell, of Jonesborough, and Billy Ray Campbell, of Johnson City; four sisters, Rose Dawn Dupkoski, Pauline Collins, Christine Miller, all of Johnson City, and Ruth Ann Sanderson, of Ohio; thirty grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral service for Renia Campbell will be conducted at 2 PM Friday, September 9, 2005, in the True Gospel FWB Church with Rev. Steve Turbyfill officiating. Music will be by the family members. Interment will follow in the Washington County Memory Gardens. Mrs. Campbell will be returned to her residence at 1407 East Unaka Avenue on Thursday afternoon. Friends may visit with the family at the residence of Thursday afternoon and evening. Mrs. Campbell will be taken to the church on Friday at noon to lie in state till the funeral time. Active pallbearers will be family members.
