Richard Francis Jank

Richard Francis Jank, 71, of Johnson City, passed away unexpectedly on December 20, 2010 at his residence.He was a member of St Marys Catholic Church in Johnson City. Richard was a native of Swickley, PA. Richard was a Penn State graduate in Science and a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. His computer science job took him to Columbia, South America where he met his wife Lucia.Richard is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Lucia M. Jank; son, Richard Francis Jank of MS; son Andrew Canon Jank of TX; brother, John Jank and his wife Mona of Johnson City; sister, Lois Day of Elizabethton; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Theresa M. Jank of Ambridge, PA, sister, Nancy Cernansky of Freedom, PA, mother-in '?law, Ethel R. Mejia of Bogota, Columbia, and a brother-in-law, Jerry Day of Elizabethton.A mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 11:00 am from St. Marys Catholic Church. Ftr. Anietie Akata will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00pm on Wednesday.
