Robbie Lee Farmer, 84, Johnson City, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018, at her residence. Robbie was born in Mars Hill, NC to the late Ernest and Georgia Robinson. Robbie was a homemaker and avid gardener, but her grandchildren were the center of her world. In addition to her parents, Robbie was preceded in death by: her husband of 50 years, Kenneth Farmer; one daughter, Chris Farmer Moore; one grandson, Zachary Moore; six brothers; and two sisters. Survivors include: two daughters, Kathy Lee and her husband Van and Brenda Hutton; grandchildren, Wendy Blackburn, Brandon Sellers, Cameron Morrison and her husband Jake, Jacob Hutton, Adrienne Hutton, Olivia Moore, Jessica Barry and her husband Thom; Elizabeth Moore; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Jessie Buckner; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice and the caregivers for their care and compassion. The family of Robbie Farmer will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday, March 26, 2018, at Morris-Baker. The funeral will follow at 7:00 PM with Pastor Roy Lowe, Jr. officiating. Music will be provided by Adrienne Hutton and ETSU Bluegrass Department. Pallbearers include: Jacob Hutton, Jake Morrison, Brandon Sellers, Thom Barry, Bailey Presnell and Mark Williams. Honorary pallbearers with be: Van Lee and Ted Farmer. Family and friends are asked to meet at Washington County Memory Gardens by 10:50 AM Tuesday for an 11:00 AM committal service in the mausoleum chapel.
