Robert Beryl Miller

Rev. Robert B. 'Bob'? Miller, 78, of 126 Valley Point, Gray, died Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at the Life Care Center of Gray. He was a native of Limestone, son of the late Clyde Elmer and Trula Kate Murr Miller. Bob was associate pastor at the Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church for 28 years. He served in the U. S. Army and reserves. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Bruce Miller. Survivors include: his wife of 54 years, Georgia Burleson Miller of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kent Bryon and Vicki L. Miller of Florissant, Missouri and Kevin Brent and Tammy Y. Miller of Eureka, Missouri; two sisters, June Iva Davis Fogle of Fort Myers, Florida and Joyce Depew of Johnson City. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, November 22, 2008 at the Morris '' Baker Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. in the South Chapel, under the direction of Dr. Gene Lasley and Rev. Torrey Lasley. Solos are to be provided by Rev. Gary Seaman. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at seven. A committal service will be conducted on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by the Bristol VFW Honor Guard. Active pallbearers will be the Bristol VFW Honor Guard. The family would like to offer special thanks to the Life Care Center of Gray and the Adventa/Amedisys Hospice. Memorials may be made in the form of contributions to Adventa/Amedisys Hospice, 684 Highway 91, Elizabethton, TN 37643.
