Robert Fayne Ringley, 72, of Johnson City, TN, passed away Wednesday, February 10 2016, at Johnson City Medical Center. He was a Hawkins County Native and resided most of his life in Johnson City, TN. Fayne graduated from Clinch High School, Hawkins County and served his country in the U.S. Army. He retired as a long distance truck driver. Fayne accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Johnson City, TN. Fayne is the son of the late Samuel and Lona Ringley. In addition to his parents, 4 brothers and 3 sisters preceded him in death. Survivors include: his wife Lucy Sellers Ringley, Johnson City, TN; three sons, Michael Ringley and his girlfriend Crystal, Mount Carmel, TN, David and Lee Preston of Mobile, Alabama; three daughters, Kim Ringley Raebel, and her husband Walt, Melanie Ringley Sizemore and her husband Kevin, Rogersville, TN and Abby Baker and her husband Chuck of Elizabethton; two sisters, Wilma Barley and husband Larry, Johnson City, TN and Patsy Ringley, Gray, TN; one brother-in-law Robert Sizemore, Mount Carmel, TN; one sister-in-law, Elsie Ringley, Knoxville, TN; 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and his loving companion Cricket. A graveside committal service for Robert Fayne Ringley will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, February 12, 2016, in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Pastor Bryan Smith will officiate. Donnie Sizemore and grandson Trevor Gray will provide music. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The Boone Dam Post # 4933 will accord military honors. Minister, family and friends are requested to meet at Morris-Baker by 12:15 PM to go in procession to the cemetery.
