Robert Gale Collins

Robert Gale Collins, 61, passed away in Johnson City, TN on Tuesday, August 28, 2018. Robert was born in Bristol, TN. He was a skilled automotive mechanic and loved woodworking. He also was an avid cat lover and was lovingly known to his cats as ?Cat Daddy'. He was member of the Johnson City Church of the Latter Day Saints. He was preceded in death by: his mother, Betty Collins Barr, and his brother, Tim Holsenback. He is survived by: his devoted wife of 45 years, Nila Collins, of the home; a stepfather, Bob Barr; a son, Daniel Collins; a daughter, Mary Collins; a son, Jeremiah Collins; three sisters, Janie (David), Marie, and Donna; two brothers, David and Jim (Brenda); two stepbrothers, John and Bobby; his granddaughter, Marley; two grandsons, Alexander and Zackary; his beloved seven cats, and his extended family. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM on Saturday, September 1 at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 2 PM. The committal service will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
