Robert Hurley Ford

Robert Hurley Ford, age 35, of Jonesborough, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at his home.

Robert was born February 23, 1988, in Johnson City, Tennessee, to Debra Lynn Adams Feathers and Virgile Lee Ford. He was a landscaper by trade. In his free time, he enjoyed shooting pool and spending time with his friends. He loved dogs and animals.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Billy Blake Adams and Thelma Widener Adams; paternal grandparents, Robert Lee Ford and Mary Jean Letterman Ford; father, Virgile Lee Ford; and brother, Michael Ryan Burgner.

Those left to cherish Robert’s memory include his mother, Debra (Robert) Feathers; son, Robert Hurley Ford II; twin sister, Jessie Jean Ford; brothers, Joshua Elliot Burgner and Stephen Eric Burgner; step-sisters, Leslie Feathers and Brandy Smith; step-grandmother, Margaret Adams; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friends, Joseph Bray and Brandon Bacon; and special dog, Beauty.

There will be a memorial service at a later date.
